Low Demand for Turkish Kiwi Due to Availability of Iranian Kiwi in the Markets in W49

The kiwi harvest in the Rize region of Turkiye is complete. Export quality kiwi products were stored while domestic quality products were sold to supermarkets. The export price stands at USD 1.2/kg EXW in W49. Turkish kiwi is not in demand in international markets due to high storage and packaging cost and the presence of Iranian kiwis in the markets.
