Moroccan Round Tomato Prices are Rising at the End of W41 Due to Increased Demand

The demand for round tomatoes from Morocco is constantly increasing as the campaign progresses. FOB prices in W41 are rising again, reaching USD 1.05/kg on Friday 14 October, up from USD 0.92/kg on Wednesday 12 October. The price volatility of tomatoes is expected to stabilise from W42 due to stable production and improved product quality with the progress of the new harvest.
