Prime Minister Carlos do Rosario has announced the government of Mozambique has put agriculture as its top priority, in order to reach the UN's goal to reach " Zero Hunger and Sustainable Agriculture" by the year 2030. Given the current military conflicts that have happened in recent years, it has become clear that it is an urgent matter to develop systems that guarantee food production and healthy diets. The Prime Minister stated that the government has been making efforts to increase the resources for agriculture, and at the moment about 10% of the country's budget is allocated to the agricultural sector.
