The harvest of the olives started in the middle of October and will last until the end of December. Overall supply chain operated well in 2021: from the blossom of the trees and the absence of plagues to the massive investment in new high intensive and precise agricultural techniques. As a result, a new production record will be achieved which is estimated to be of around 150,000 MT of olive oil. An increase in exports will go hand in hand with the increase in production and in the current year will surpass EUR 600 million.
