In the past, Honey jackfruit was mostly cultivated in Pahang state, which is famous for its fruit plantation facilities. However, since the majority of the land in Pahang state is allocated for Musang King durian cultivation these days, J33 jackfruit needs to be cultivated in other states in Malaysia. It is expected that the J33 plantation will be located in Selangor and Perak state by 2024.
