The peak season for domestic Chinese grapefruits is in Q4, which affects the price of Thai pomelo imported into Chinese markets. Thai pomelo costs between USD 6.99 to 9.09/4.5kg carton (RMB 50-65/4.5kg carton), whereas local grapefruit costs between USD 4.20-4.90/4.5kg carton (RMB 30-35/4.5kg carton). For Thai pomelo, there is no market movement in W47. The domestic grapefruit season in China will go through the end of January 2023 or the beginning of February 2023. At that time, Thai pomelo may occasionally return to China's marketplaces. Khao Taeng Kwa, Khao Nam Pueng, and Tab Tim Siam are some of their well-known pomelo variants.
