Papaya prices drop in Brazil

In the state of Espírito Santo, the high availability of papaya Formosa and lack of internal demand caused prices to drop 11% compared to the previous period and below the cost of production, as reported by local producers. There have also been reports of a higher incidence of viruses, papaya mosaic, and honeydew.
