Peruvian shrimp companies are getting ready to enter the Brazilian market

Peruvian shrimp exporting companies located in Tumbes and Piura (northern regions) received the visit of officials from Brazil and Peru in order to prepare the local offer to successfully enter the Brazilian market.

The visit included especialists from the Department of Inspection of Products of Animal Origin (DIPOA), National Fisheries Health Agency (SANIPES) and the Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism - Mincetur.

This initiative was the result of close coordination between the North Macro Region Office, the Department of Fishery Products of PROMPERÚ, MINCETUR, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, SANIPES and the National Aquaculture Society (SNA), responding to the request, interest and needs of the exporting companies of the industry.
