High Supply of Cod Milt in Japan for W50

Cod trading prices at Toyosu Market in Tokyo fell due to higher supply. The wholesale price of Pacific cod from Hokkaido in late November and the first week of December 2022 stood at USD 3.69-7.38/kg (JPY 500-1,000/kg) for male cod with milt (Sirako), and for Females at USD 1.48-3.69/kg (JPY 200-500/kg). It is more than 30% cheaper than The Sanriku Coast (三陸海岸, sanriku kaigan).
