In Jun-24, the price of plum fruit in Egypt increased by 30% month-on-month (MoM, reaching USD 2,096.61 per ton (EGP 100,000/ton) compared to USD 1,467.63/ton (EGP 70,000/ton) in May-24. This rise is due to low supply in the market as the season nears its end and imports from different destinations dwindle.
