Pollution Killing Tons of Fish in East Africa's Lake Victoria

Lake Victoria, where an estimated USD 300-400M fish are generated each year, has recently had a massive fish death; especially the Nile Perch.
In 2021, over 100 MT of fish in Nile Perch were killed in Uganda, and up to USD 4,000 MT including Kenya, and Tanzania; the three countries spanned by the lake. This is the equivalent of around USD 400,000 in potential lost revenue.
