In September and October 2022, imports of frozen durian pulps are low. However, the current stock in China is increasing. Commonly, from December to February during the Chinese Spring festival period, demand for durian is high, and prices for frozen durian increase. In W43, Thai Monthong Durian Pupils, Grade A price stands at USD 9.41-9.68/kg (RMB 68-70/kg), and Grade B price stands at USD 6.23-6.92/kg (RMB 45-50/kg). Even though Vietnamese durian pulps are allowed in the Chinese market, consumers prefer Thai-origin durian pulp for its better quality.
