The prices for pigeon peas have recovered and remained steady in Ethiopia after their decline between August and early September. Prices have increased by an average of USD 10–15/MT on a weekly basis. Initially, the prices started in W28-W32 at USD 780/MT for the Arusha variety, then went down to USD 580/MT in W36-38 and started increasing to USD 640/MT in W39 and USD 700/MT in W41. Prices are expected to remain high but stable until October and November.
