Coffee is one of Gia Lai's main export products, with an export output of over 200,000 tons in 2021, with a total value of about USD 350 million. In order to improve the quality and increase the value of coffee, farmers, businesses, and industries of Gia Lai province are actively collaborating to change production, processing, and branding methods for local coffee products. Currently, Gia Lai province's agricultural sector is actively building and perfecting the production process of robusta specialty coffee under the Project on Development of Vietnamese Specialty Coffee, period 2021-2030.
