The yield of bovine exploitations in the autonomous region of Castile and León saw an increase in the number of heads of 4.1% this year despite the volatility caused by the pandemic.

The region produces an average of 1.5 million heads per year, representing nearly 22% of the country's annual production. Local producers are confident that the sector will recover from the pandemic and are hopeful that sector will be well-positioned to take on excess demand.
