SANIPES trained 180 trout producers in Puno region in Peru

The Peruvian National Fisheries Health Agency - Sanipes, launched the sub-project "Strengthening Management for the Sanitary Qualification of Aquaculture Production Centers in the Puno Region", with the objective of promoting the production centers of trout to obtain the Qualifying Title, which will increase trade and the economy of the border area with Bolivia.

The subproject will strengthen the knowledge and skills of 180 trout producers from the Andean region, and will promote the sanitary authorization of its aquaculture production centers, in order to guarantee the health and safety of aquaculture resources and products, and that sanitary authorization is sustainable over time.
