In the United States market (US), the price of fresh Atlantic salmon fillets experienced a slight increase at the beginning of W44. This upward trend was due to a reduced supply from Chile due to holidays on October 27 and November 1. The two-day processing interruption resulted in a temporary decrease in Chile's offering. However, this supply disruption is expected to be resolved by W45. Prices for 2/3 lb fillets reached USD 5.40 to 5.55 per pound, while 3/4 lb fillets were priced at USD 5.50 to 5.65/lb, as quoted by FOB Miami.
