Stable Prices of Brazilian Black Pepper in W45

In W45, the price of Brazilian black pepper (ASTA quality) is around USD 2700/Ton FOB. Export volume has dropped due to dollar rates and regulations at the start of 2022. With cases of Salmonella increasing, some countries have banned the imports of Brazilian black pepper. The Brazilian government has decided to adopt measures to improve the quality of the exported products. At the ports, containers of black pepper are held for over 30 days until the lab results are concluded, in addition to 10+ days for the container to be released.
