Despite the lower supply, the amount of cassava processed by starch industry was 164.9 thousand tons, representing a growth of 21% in comparison with August.
The nominal average starch price per ton (FOB) was R$ 2,252.97 (R$ 56.32 per 25 kg bag) in September, an increase of 17.9% compared to August levels.
