Status of farm construction and increase in milk production of Vinamilk

Recently, the leaders of Quang Ngai province visited Vinamilk Quang Ngai Dairy Farm in Mo Duc District. This is the second-largest farm in Vinamilk's farms after Tay Ninh dairy farm, with a total investment of 30 million USD with an area of ​​100 hectares. The farm intends to have 4,000 dairy cows, creating jobs for 160 workers.

Up to this point, the project has been cleared of ground with an area of ​​over 92 hectares, in which, Vinamilk has invested 30 hectares to build technical infrastructure, operator, compost pits, cow breeding facilities, food storage, wastewater treatment area. Besides that, the company used nearly 62 hectares to deployed grass as a food source. On October 10, the company imported 500 dairy cows from the US. It is expected that in early 2021, the company will continue to import about 1,500-2,000 US dairy cows to continue increasing their herd.
