Taiwan consumers prefer violet garlic from Egypt

Taiwan imports garlic from Egypt from June to October and prefers violet garlic. Another common variety of Egyptian garlic is white garlic, which has more than 20 cloves. With its smaller cloves, white garlic is not a preferred variety for Taiwanese consumers.
