Taiwan fruit buyers finds South Africa oranges hard to source

Fruit importers in Taiwan favor South African oranges starting from May because South African oranges cost is almost half of USA oranges. The variety of orange favored the most is Navel and sizes in 88/105. The South African orange is a seller's market, where the price is strictly set by the association and the buyer struggles to find a second supplier as most suppliers are not taking new customers.
