On 25 April 2022, the tea sale for the next auction year 2022-23 will begin in Chattogram. On 27 April 2022, the Srimangal tea auction center will stage the second auction of the year. According to the Bangladesh Tea Board (BTB), the country's two auction centers will stage 68 auctions this year; 45 in Chattogram and 23 in Srimangal (BTB). With an increase in production and sales, the demand and supply of tea were balanced. As a result, tea prices surged at auctions as well. As a result, the tea market is expected to stay stable from 2022-to 2023.
