The Atlantic East and Mediterranean Bluefin Tuna Quota Allocated to Spain Is Set at 6783.67 MT

The allocation of Atlantic East and Mediterranean bluefin tuna quota to Spain for 2024 stands at 6,783.67 metric tons (mt), as outlined in Annex ID of Council Regulation (EU) 2024/257, dated January 10, 2024. This regulation defines the fishing opportunities for the years 2024, 2025, and 2026 for fish populations in Union waters, applicable to Union fishing vessels, and also in non-Union waters. Additionally, it introduces amendments to Regulation (EU) 2023/194.
