The export volume of Indonesian coconut meal in the second half of 2020

In the second half of 2020, coconut meal manufacturers in Indonesia have managed to export around 6 KMT of coconut meal to a number of importing countries such as India and Pakistan. Most of the coconut meal exported from Indonesia is sourced from West Borneo and Northern Sulawesi where most of the coconut meal manufacturers are located. This momentum is being to used to target a growth of 30% in 2021. Coconut meal has been in demand in the entirety of 2020, as an alternative to the low supply of palm kernel expeller to be used as animal feed by the livestock industry.
