Two containers of South African pears arrived on March 5, 2023, at the Guangzhou wholesale market, and it is the first shipment for this season since there is a protocol established for the export of South African pears to China. The selling prices were quite competitive for the below sizes (pieces) due to the pears' early delivery and high quality:
