Increased labour demand for the harvest of olive trees in Greece's olive-growing regions has put additional pressure on farmers due to the rising labour costs and labour scarcity. Tensions are rising as a result of the labour shortage and the necessity of harvesting in stormy weather conditions. Therefore, producers seem to fail to meet deadlines, and the only certain thing is that keeping pricing commitments is a huge challenge.
