The Measures of the Argentinian Government Affected the Business Growth

The Argentinian government has implemented and changed import quotas and different measures to take care of the foreign reserves. With Q4 2022 still pending, some importers can no longer import at the official exchange rate because they already surpassed their import quota of 105% from last year's imports. Their importers either have to wait until their import quota is renewed or import with dollars purchased in the financial market at an exchange rate that doubles the official rate. This is hurting the business of many Argentinian importers that were looking to grow their imports this year.
