The Rio Negro Valley in Argentina is a fruit-growing area per excellence where pears, apples, cherries, and stone fruits are grown. The cherry harvest is forecasted to start with some early varieties sometime in November. Then peaches will continue in December, and pears and apples from January to March. Weather has been good enough in October despite still expecting some cold fronts that could generate heavy hail affecting the fruits. In general, good harvests in terms of volume and flavor (Brix) for these fruits in Rio Negro Valley are expected.
