The 2022/23 Turkish Citrus Harvest Has Begun in October, With the Yield Forecast Similar to the 2021/22 Season

The 2022/23 Turkish citrus export season has begun with the start of harvest in Oct-22 after the September harvest was delayed. There is no reduction in citrus production expected and the yield is predicted to be the same as the 2021/22 season levels. Orange exports in the 2021/22 season totaled USD 54.8 million, a 22.2% increase year-over-year (YoY). Russia, Germany, Romania, and Middle Eastern countries stand out the most in citrus exports from Turkey.
