Togo launches Coffee and Cocoa campaign

In Togo, the coffee and cocoa marketing campaign was launched yesterday in Kpalimé, Togo.
The bulk (about 98%) of green coffee production is for export. However, the international sales fell sharply in 2019/20, to 2,600 MT against 4,500 MT in 2018/19. Cocoa, on the other hand, has seen a major increase, from 7,200 MT in 2018/19 to 10,200 MT.
After cotton, coffee and cocoa are Togo's main export crops.
