Trade value and price trend for fruits and vegetables in Spain

In 2021, Spain exported to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) a total of 22,827 MT of fruit and 17,753 MT of vegetables, with a value of 31.2 million in the case of fruit and EUR 17.2 million for vegetables, according to data of the Department of Customs and Special Taxes processed by FEPEX. Cabbages, with EUR 7.2 million, and oranges, with EUR 7 million, are the best-selling products from Spain to the UAE in 2021. In fruit, apples also stand out, with EUR 4.6 million, tangerines with EUR 4.2 million, and persimmon, with EUR 3.4 million. After cabbages in vegetables, the most exported product was onions with EUR 4.5 million and lettuce with EUR 3 million.
