Turkish agricultural exports increased by 22.2% in 2021 compared to the previous year and reached USD 29 billion 737.6 million

Compared to 2020, Turkey's exports increased by 32.9 percent last year, reaching USD 225 billion 367.7 million. Agricultural exports increased by 22.2 % in 2021 compared to the previous year and reached USD 29 billion 737.6 million. The agricultural sector thus achieved the highest export of all time.

Agricultural exports accounted for 13.2% of total exports last year. Among the sectors related to agriculture, grains, pulses, oilseeds, and products were the most exported in the previous year with USD 9 billion 156,5 million, forest products with USD 6 billion 993.8 million, aquaculture and animal products with USD 3 billion 400.2 million. Fresh fruits and vegetables with USD 3 billion 83.6 million, hazelnuts and products with USD 2 billion 260.7 million, fruit and vegetable products with USD 2 billion 28.4 million, dried fruits and products with USD 1 billion 574.3 million, 783 million dollars tobacco, olive and olive oil with USD 309.5 million, ornamental plants and products with USD 147.6 million.
