The Indian government requires Non-GMO certificates in all apple imports since March 1st, 2021. This new regulation has affected Turkish exporters too but apple suppliers seem to be coping with this new regulation from India by acquiring official statements issued by regional offices of the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture certifying all apple shipments are free of GMO.
