Turkish hazelnut exports mark increase of 18%, mostly exported to EU countries

According to the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) latest stats, Turkish hazelnut exports see an increase of 17,8% in the first 9 months of the current year compared to the same period last year, generating $1,45 billion in export revenue.
Turkey exported hazelnuts and hazelnut products in the same period to Italy worth $330,2 million, Germany worth $321,8 million, France worth $110,6 million, Poland worth $71,7 million, Canada worth $53,4 million, the Netherlands worth $50,5 million, Austria worth $48,5 million, Switzerland worth $54,8 million, Spain worth $35,7 million, and Belgium worth $35 million.
