With the start of the new vegetable season in Turkey, large variety of vegetables are now available at the Antalya Market. However, suppliers are once again experiencing incidents of trucks stuck in the Kapikule, border of Bulgaria due to internal documentation issues. The trucks form lines of 10-20km, and due to the queue at the border, suppliers are experiencing difficulties shipping the goods. There is a high risk of exported vegetables spoiling because trucks are kept for 2-3 days, but Bulgarian authorities have been slow to address this old paperwork problem.
