On November 26, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Russia discussed the possibility of direct deliveries of meat products with the Governor of the Bryansk Region.
It is noted that during the meeting, enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of the Bryansk region received an invitation to participate in the international exhibition EXPO-2020 in Dubai that was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic to October 2021.
In the near future, a number of projects between Russia and UAE are expected to be considered at the government level, including the export of beef and lamb from Russia. Direct supplies of livestock products from the Bryansk region to the UAE means a transition to a new level of economic cooperation.
At the moment, the supply of beef to this country takes place through an intermediary when the Russian supplier dispatches cargo to Saudi Arabia, where it is bought by a counterpart from the United Arab Emirates.
