The following imported fruits are expected to arrive at Shanghai wholesale market in December: Australian (Tasmanian) cherries and peach apricots, New Zealand cherries, Argentina cherries, Indonesian mangosteen and Peruvian mango.
As cherries and peach apricots from New Zealand are well-known for good quality, they are being shipped via air freight in December. However, customs clearance and air freight cost should be taken into consideration.
Good-quality Australian cherries with high hardness is also expected to be in high demand, but as Australian (Tasmanian) cherries cannot be transported in direct-transit, the overall quality will be affected.
