Lumpy skin disease is making its way around the Thai beef industry, with a small but significant portion of Thai cattle currently afflicted. This has led to a reduction in beef supply but there has been no visible increase in price even with reduced supply as demand has also decreased. This is due to the rise in COVID19 cases and infection rates and the curfew imposed on Bangkok and neighboring provinces.
