Prices of US-origin chickpeas headed to Turkey/Mersin port decreased in WK6 of 2022. However, prices are higher than the Argentinian and Canadian origin. The local consumption and shortage of production could be a reason for it. Turkish companies follow the chickpeas market closely due to export restrictions of the Turkish-origin chickpeas. The examples of prices are as below :

Dylan’s White Type: 9mm 54/56 USD 1320 CIF Mersin Port*
Sierra Type dark color 9mm 58/60 USD 1275 CIF Mersin Port*
Sierra lighter color 9mm 58/60 USD 1320 CIF Mersin Port*

(* The freight rate is considered as USD 3.000 per 20' FCL)
