Vietnam's Cinnamon and Cinnamon Flower Exports to Switzerland Surge by 81.3% YoY in 2023

Switzerland's import turnover of cinnamon and cinnamon flower products (HS 0906) has maintained an average of over USD 3 million per year in recent years, with an average import volume of about 200 tons annually.
In the first eight months of 2023, the imports for these product groups amounted to USD 1.6 million, marking an increase of 15.5% year-over-year (YoY), with import volume reaching 121.4 tons.

Vietnam has secured the fourth position among the markets from which Switzerland imports cinnamon and cinnamon flowers in the initial eight months of 2023. The turnover for this period reached USD 118 thousand, showcasing a substantial increase of 81.3% YoY. Vietnam's share in Switzerland's import market stands at 7.4%.
