Vietnamese Mollusk Exports Surged by 24% YoY From Jan-24 to Jul-24

According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), Vietnam's mollusk export turnover in the first seven months of 2024 is estimated to exceed USD 95 million, marking a significant 24% year-on-year (YoY) increase. Meanwhile, Clam exports led the way with an estimated USD 52 million, followed by scallops at USD 14 million, snails at USD 16 million, oysters at over USD 8 million, and other seafood at nearly USD 4 million. Notably, snail exports experienced the highest growth rate, surging by more than 57% YoY.
