Stable Prices for Yellowtail Tuna in Spain Expected to Rise in Summer 2024

In Mar-24, the price of yellowtail tuna in Spain remained stable, ranging from USD 2,706/ton to USD 2,733/ton (EUR 2,500 to 2,525/ton). It is expected to increase in the coming summer. The price of frozen yellowfin tuna at -18 degrees is nearly USD 3,517/ton (EUR 3,250/ton). Big tuna, size +20kg/fish, caught in the Western Pacific and exported to Italy, is sold at about USD 2,651/ton (EUR 2,450/ton). Yellowfin tuna prices are expected to increase next summer, although they may not reach the highest level of over USD 3,182/ton (EUR 3,000/ton) as in the same period in 2022.
