As shipments to China fell at a slower rate than the general total, last October its share recovered significantly, reaching 72.8% of the total. The turnover for beef exports was 241.2 million dollars in October, that is, 23.9% less than in the previous month. The recovery of the declared average price very partially moderated the impact of the drop in export volume (+ 2.2% vs. -25.1%). In the year-on-year comparison, revenues decreased only 0.8%, as the rebound in the average declared price almost fully offset the drop in the quantity of exported beef (+ 46.6% vs. -30.9%).
