Ukraine has experienced a significant increase in carrot prices over the past two weeks, with costs rising by an average of 11% and reaching between 20-28 UAH/kg ($0.48-0.67/kg). This price hike is attributed to heightened trading activity and a limited supply due to most farms holding back high-quality carrots in anticipation of further price increases. As a result, the cost of top-tier carrots is now 83% higher than last year on average.
