Carrot prices continue to rise in Ukraine

As analysts of the EastFruit project report, the pace of trade in this segment has also continued to grow over the past two weeks. According to the project's daily monitoring, since the end of last week alone, carrots in Ukraine have risen in price by an average of 11%, and today producers are ready to ship them at a price of 20-28 UAH/kg ($0.48-0.67/kg) depending on the quality, region and other terms of the deal. According to market players, the rise in prices is facilitated by a noticeable increase in trading activity in the segment of these root vegetables.
