Date cultivation in Turkey and dried persimmons sent to Germany, its age is sent to Russia

Harvest rush started in Honaz, which has made a name for itself in date cultivation. In the district, which is on the way to become Turkey's persimmon warehouse, 1350 couples expect a yield of 12 thousand tons of dates this year, whose yield decreased compared to last year due to seasonal conditions. Producers, who sell dates as fresh and dried, are trying to meet the demand from the country and abroad. The producers, who come to the field road in the first light of the morning, peel some of the dates they collect during the day and hang them on hangers for drying. The fruits to be sent as fresh are carefully selected. Fruit separated for age is prepared for sale in cold storage. This year, the date palm is sold in the field for 6 liras, and the dried one is expected to find buyers for 50 liras.
