REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Coordinating Minister for Food Crops Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) expressed outrage over the illegal entry of 250 tons of imported rice into Indonesia via Sabang, Aceh. “There is rice in Sabang, we are really angry that 250 tons could enter without any permit. I said it should be seized, the Minister of Agriculture (Andi Amran Sulaiman) is already taking action,” he said during the inauguration and confirmation of the Central Executive Board (DPP) of the Association of Village Governments of All Indonesia (APDESI) Merah Putih for the period 2025–2030 in Jakarta, Tuesday (25/11/2025).
