In W28 in the oats landscape, in the United States (US), crop development and the harvest in Iowa, are progressing ahead of schedule, with around 70% of the oat crop turning color. In Nebraska, oats planted for all purposes are estimated at 145 thousand acres, up 16% year-on-year (YoY), while harvest for grain is estimated at 25 thousand acres, up 39% YoY. Meanwhile, in Wisconsin, 86% of the oats have headed and 48% of the crop is coloring. In Brazil, white oats are in the final stage of planting, with 98% of the planned crops sown. However, the total conclusion has been delayed due to adverse weather conditions related to rain. Nevertheless, the planted crops show appropriate development, with 91% in vegetative development and tillering, 6% in flowering, and 3% in grain filling. Lastly, in Spain, the winter cereal harvest will be 37% less YoY, reaching 3.24 million metric tons (mmt) in Castilla y León due to a significant decrease in the cultivated area of ​​winter cereal, at 1.64 million hectares (ha), 10% less than that of the previous campaign and 12 % below the average surface area of the last five years.
