In W30 in the plum and prune landscape, the first shipments of Sangue di Drago and Regina Claudia plums arrived in the Italian market. The demand for these varieties was steadily increasing due to their good quality. As a result, prices were positioned at levels above the average for this period. The market showed positive signs for plums, and consumers appreciated the quality. This situation contributed to the high prices.

Lastly, the Argentine government is set to invest USD 800 thousand in productive cluster development with export potential in the provinces of Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Entre Ríos, Mendoza, and Santa Fe. The project will focus on the plum cluster for the industry in Mendoza. This aims to enhance the plum business by implementing a precision agriculture system to improve crop efficiency and minimize losses. The Secretariat for Development Planning and Federal Competitiveness approved plans for the second-generation project. The initiative includes acquiring equipment, developing software for productive management, and providing training to producers and field technicians.
