(Agraria.pe) Since the beginning of the 2025/2026 campaign, up to the close of week 47 (November 23), fresh mango exports reached 8,921 tons, showing a contraction of -69.5% compared to the 29,259 tons reported in the same period of the previous campaign (2024/2025). This decrease is explained because the current campaign "is delayed," reported the Peruvian Association of Mango Producers and Exporters (APEM). The association also explained that fresh mango shipments by sea amounted to 4,884 tons (54.75% of the total), by land 2,043 tons (22.90%), and by air 1,994 tons (22.35%). In the analyzed period of the current campaign, the main destinations for fresh mango from Peru were the United States, which accounted for 33% of the total; Canada 19%, Chile 19%, the Netherlands 10%, and Russia 9%.
